It was good to have the day off but it was too short. Back to work in the morning.
It was cool and rainy most of the day. Took Aiden to the Library for storytelling. I was the only Grandfather that participated. It was fun to see Aiden interact with the other toddlers. Wanted to go for a run but the rain nixed that.
Picked up Cormac McCarthy's "Blood Meridian" to read (I'll be damned if I can figure out how to underline). Also picked up a copy of Galway Kinnell's newest book of poetry. It has a CD with him reading all the poems also which is kind of neat. One of the lines really struck me and I wrote it down:
"....talking in ink to a piece of paper."
