Well I have to get something down here!
What a month. Cold for July and very wet. What's going on here? Our tomato plants have grown tall and willowy but produced nothing but green fruit with a black fungus. We've gotten a fair amount of zucchini and squash but nothing like I would have expected. No peppers. However, the yard looks terrific and our trees really look magnificent. Even the pin oak in the front yard has got acorns for the first time. I wonder what August will bring....
Running has been good but not great for the month. I'm looking to improve as August enters the picture. Lots to do before this summer comes to an end. I feel sorry for all the school kids and teachers who have 2-3wks left before going back to class.
